EDF Energy - The story so far....

2004/2005
EDF Energy, formally branded as London Energy – realised they needed training for their exhibition staff who managed and operated several stands each year.  The Exhibiting Agency provided full in-house Masterclasses sharing our alternative approach to exhibiting with over 50 sales and marketing professionals and we also provided front line staff for 3 major shows.  The results – dramatically improved – in particular at the Thames Gateway exhibition, where 83 major leads were generated in this high value, highly competitive market sector.

2006/2008

The objectives were changing.  Further pre show briefing meetings reviewed the new emphasis on bringing the brand to life.  Post show evaluations continuously reviewed results.  At the Thames Gateway Forum exhibition in November 2007 more than 250 stand visitors “touched the brand”, by walking through a gateway as a pledge to make a change for the good of the environment.

2009

This year EDF concentrated on holding their own events but had a couple of public exhibitions later in the year.  It was decided that a refresher exhibition training day be held for existing staff and newcomers to the team.  Following the training at The Energy Event in Birmingham in September 125 good quality leads were taken for Energy Services, 38 customers signed up for the Initial Energy Savings Consultation and 36 customers asked to be contacted after the show.
