John presented his Mini Live Marketing Masterclass at the NatWest Entrepreneurs Breakfast at their offices in Spinningfields, Manchester on 10th April.
The session was well received and attended by around 30 Entrepreneurs along with a number of NatWest staff.
Attendees were happy to fill in feedback forms and tell us about their results from their Live Marketing activity. Once again the survey shows a majority do not know or did not measure their results.
Some highlights that these delegates took away and comments included:
“though provoking” – “practical examples and tips” –
“measurement. 8 words. no brochures” – “Don’t use sales reps on the stand”
“showed a different way to present” – “communicating your proposition in less than 8 words”
After a top speed taxi ride and train to London, John conducted a workshop for the International Global Marketing Services team at Alere that same afternoon.
Via a transatlantic link this brought together the US cardiology marketing team and the Alere International global marketing team, who we will be working with again for the remainder of the year, assisting them with 8 shows. Keep watching the news pages for their results.
Frank Reynolds, Product Marketing Manager – Sustainability Products – a previous client of ours with another company, brought The Exhibiting Agency in to guarantee BSI results at this exhibition.
Following a workshop to set objectives, refine messages and design the on stand process, two spotters were hired and Outcomes feedback forms created. 171 Leads were generated – 94 of these two or three star leads.
AstraZeneca a long term client of The Exhibiting Agency used all the tools and processes shared over this long term relationship, along with the creative input from Hartnell to deliver a unique experience for the delegates at the Royal College of Nursing Annual Conference. The visitors went on a journey back in time to an old fashioned school room to learn about Fluenz, their anti Flu drug (and even sit an exam – via a cleverly interpreted feedback form).
The adjacent stand promoted Symbicort Smart via a hi-tech lab environment – again taking the visitors on a journey and allowing them to complete feedback about their knowledge and experience of the drug. Almost 500 feedback forms were collected from both spaces.
DSTL a new client, came to us following a number of their people attending a Mini Masterclass at the RAeS last year. DSTL, part of the MOD, decided to hold their own in-house Live Marketing Masterclass / Workshop for those involved in Live Marketing internally. John conducted the session for ten of their staff with some stand out comments from the attendees :
“I wish I had gone to something like this years ago”
“Lots of insights that I will genuinely take forward into how I plan, deliver and follow up on exhibitions”
Dawood and Tanner, another new client hired The Exhibiting Agency to conduct an in house workshop before their attendance at the BDA conference. In line with our process, objectives and messages were agreed first and then a creative theme decided – D&T Art Gallery – works of art depicting the dental practice’s messages – were hung on the walls of the stand and visitors lead on a journey guided by audio headsets relaying the Dawood and Tanner Story.
123 visitors passed through the stand with 114 wanting to see them again and all places filled for their Mentoring Partnership Induction Evenings. A great result for first time exhibitors.
