Aries Pensions another of our long term clients exhibited this month at NAPF (National Association of Pension Funds) at Manchester Central.
Even having been through the process many times before, a strategy review was done and an Exhibitor Planning Report created.
Objectives / targets for this exhibition and new messages were agreed – Aries also have a new logo, branding and website to launch “ARIES Insight” – and so an “opticians theme” evolved around this based on the Insight aspect of their offering.
Visitors were qualified outside the stand by Exhibiting Agency trained spotters and invited inside to take the Aries “Insight test”, presented by another Exhibiting Agency professional.
Feedback forms were completed by the visitors giving Aries invaluable market intelligence and immediate follow up (via Outcomes – our on line measurement tool).
Of the 900 visitors to the exhibition, 500 were suitable targets for Aries, 103 took the Insight Test and 26 requested follow up.
Back to Dubai
The Kiosk in the World Trade Centre Concourse goes from strength to strength – over 800 enquires logged in Outcomes since the start on 24th September.
John is back in Dubai this week to check on the Kiosk and also continue the consultancy project with DWC re. their attendance at The Big 5 Show in November.
The stand objectives have been set, overall message agreed around “Only Business Park (DWC) can offer unique logistics infrastructure with flexibility, scalablity, self declared capital and speedy start up” and stand design finalised. The stand at the exhibition will run alongside the kiosk experience.
Staffing is the next stage of the process and John will be working with DWC to ensure an appropriate team, with specific skill sets are allocated roles on the stand. Check out November’s new for the results.
Number 4 for The Big 5 – Masterclasses that is – John presented the fourth Exhibiting Skills Masterclass to Big 5 exhibitors during his October visit – another well received session – and thanks to DMG for the exceptional organisation.
A familiar set of results from the attendees when surveyed. More than half did not know what value / return on invest they achieved at their last exhibition.
And some takeaway thoughts from the attendees:
“Businesses do not run with products, it runs with people: concentrate on the people”
“To get the right people; to give a reason – curiosity – for people to visit our stand”
“Proper guide in benefiting through exhibition”
“Examples shown of people who had used the process”
John will be back in Dubai at the end of November attending The Big 5 Exhibition and conducting the first “At Show masterclasses” aimed at potential exhibitors for next years event.
Watch this space for results from those and also from our new UAE exhibiting clients.
