busy, busy busy…
John was again asked to conduct a Masterclass for the members of the Council of Mortgage Lenders – their industry conference MICE is looming.
The session was well received and led to John being ask to write an article for their on line magazine – read it here.
The following week came a Masterclass for the Corporate Partners of the Royal Aeronautical Society – having helped the RAeS with their own exhibiting effort at the Farnborough Airshow, they felt that sharing their own experience and exposure to John Blaskey and The Exhibiting Agency would benefit their corporate partners.
Delegates were so engaged with the session that it ran over time and many are now speaking to us about their own global exhibiting strategies.
We also had 3 clients at RWM this month.
Epsom Incentives, an existing client of ours (with no real connection to the waste industry) – they sell promotional merchandise – but use some recycled materials to make them – they had one of their best results so far, with 125 new prospects on their database and even managed to sign up 100 fellow exhibitors.
West Recycling, new to exhibiting and wanting to “do it right” following the MDs attendance at one of our Exhibiting Masterclasses, they decided to take an in house exhibiting workshop – and put EVERYTHING they had learnt into practice – they DID EVERYTHING RIGHT. Planned, set achievable objectives, created a journey, hired a spotter, had an effective data capture system (Outcomes) and are – as we speak – following up the leads. All 217 of them. They estimate at this stage (just 3 weeks after the show) to have a new business pipeline of £600,000, 50% over their target.
