New client Cedar Dean exhibited at Subcon 2nd – 4th June at the NEC
Cedar Dean are the UK’s leading commercial property restructuring specialists. Working with both Landlords and Tenants to reach viable solutions on fixed property costs using a fresh and innovative approach. They provide unrivalled advice and a tailor made service to meet each client’s specific needs.
Following an initial Exhibiting Workshop in April, Cedar Dean upgraded to a Total Show Consultancy package (see April news for results from the In-house Workshop).
Once objectives, targets and messaging had been agreed a Dragons Den theme was adopted and implemented. A professional presenter was hired, along with a Spotter from The Exhibiting Agency, to qualify appropriate visitors before inviting them into the “experience”.
An Outcomes feedback form and instant prospect follow up system was created, allowing the Cedar Dean team to gather market intelligence and instigate the after show follow up.
116 feedback forms were completed – 91% of visitors who filled in forms requested further support from Cedar Dean – and potential new revenue of £100,000 was identified at the debrief – giving them a 5:1 return on their investment from this show.
Mid June saw another Business Breakfast Seminar for Hurst Accountants and their clients, this time at their central Manchester offices. http://www.hurst.co.uk/
The Mini Masterclass focused on how to grow businesses through Live Marketing. And unsurprisingly 44% of the audience did not know or did not measure their results at their last Live Marketing event or exhibition. 11% didn’t know how much they had spent!!
The Exhibiting Agency is working hard to change these statistics to ensure that all Live Marketing activities undertaken have meaningful objectives set beforehand, all activities are monitored and measured during the event and ROI calculated afterwards.
The above statistics were obtained using our own Outcomes feedback and follow up system.
Sally Gordon, Owner and founder of MRC was referred to The Exhibiting Agency by mutual acquaintance Ann Alexander.
MRC provides a unique and expert medical record collation service. They pride themselves in the reputation built up amongst leading clinical negligence law practices for delivering fast, accurate and reliable record pagination and detailed chronology summaries.
MRC were to exhibit at AvMA 27th Annual Clinical Negligence Conference at the Royal Armouries in Leeds 26th and 27th June and having never exhibited before needed help!
A Strategy Review took place in April, culminating in an Exhibitor Planning Report setting out what had to be done at the show to maximise the opportunity. During the review it emerged that the exhibition hall would have no shell scheme panels and would literally be space only with a table a two chairs.
This spurred MRC on to hire The Exhibiting Agency to show them how to do it…
Through our Total Show Consultancy package realistic objectives and targets were set, messaging was agreed and from this a theme emerged. MRC had to be different and stand out from the other exhibitors. Designers were briefed, panels and pop ups ordered, along with a Batak game and leader board. Turning the “space” into a fully functional, professionally run exhibition process, provided a fun, informative and memorable experience for the delegates.
Outcomes feedback and instant follow up was adopted and a professional Stand Manager / Spotter from The Exhibiting Agency was hired to run a rehearsal on the evening before the conference, train and manage the MRC staff on the first day.
72 feedback forms were collected from relevant, qualified delegates – 16% of the total attendees. Valuable market research was gathered along with requests for further follow up from MRC. All this was achieved without give-aways or leaflets!!
An estimated 6:1 return on investment was calculated at the post show debrief.
