John was invited to present to members of the IST at their Annual Conference on 10th September 2014 in Leamington Spa.
The Live Marketing Masterclass was well received and again alarming statistics revealed in The Exhibiting Agency survey showed that 80% of the delegates did not know or did not measure the results they got last time they exhibited or attended a Live Marketing event. 42% did not know how much they had spent!
The Exhibiting Agency are now helping some of these organisations to rectify this.

Ashley Boroda presented his unique take on The Exhibiting Agency’s methodology to the UKTI North West’s – International Trade Advisers’ Meeting on 11th September 2014 at Warren Bruce Court, Trafford Park.
In his short – 20 minute – slot Ashley presented an energetic and enthusiastic insight into what can be achieved and measured on any tradeshow stand in the UK or abroad.
A number the Trade Advisors have asked The Exhibiting Agency to help their clients take a different approach in their up and coming tradeshow programmes.
TGL Exhibited at Automechanika 16th – 20th September in Frankfurt.
Enlisting the help of The Exhibiting Agency only three weeks before the show was a challenge indeed, but one in which realistic objectives were set, staff employed and our measurement tool – Outcomes – put in place.
TGL hired two of our professionals, one to manage the stand on the first day and train the TGL team to “do it The Exhibiting Agency way” and a bilingual Spotter, recruited locally and trained by us to bring qualified visitors in to the stand. They clocked up 70 qualified leads on the first day alone, with a total of 263 serious prospects entered into the Outcomes System.
At the post show debrief TGL agreed they had created an aligned story and promoted a defined message. They were able to move people through their space quickly and aimed at “selling the next meeting”. They resisted giving out brochures, but had their website live and accessible on the stand.
Would they exhibit at this show again? – Yes they would – and would they use The Exhibiting Agency process again? – Yes they would. TGL anticipate a 5:1 return on investment.
Instron hired The Exhibiting Agency after attending an Exhibiting Masterclass back in January – hosted by GAMBICA.
They undertook their own In-house Workshop to challenge their teams about their exhibiting performance. Following the workshop they hired The Exhibiting Agency to provide consultancy for their presence at Interplas 30th September – 2nd October at the NEC.
They had plenty of time to implement all they had learnt at the workshop, and created a Cinema complete with horror movie to promote “the proposition beyond their products”.
Despite disappointing show attendance Instron generated 94 serious leads with 50 requests for a future engagement, and attendance at their forthcoming Masterclass.
“This was the first time we did not have to take our salesforce off the road to staff a tradeshow. A great saving.” said the Instron team.
Instron are attending the Advanced Engineering Show in November with the same stand experience.
